S.F. Farmers’ Markets: The Full List

Many years ago, I was trying to find a comprehensive list of farmers’ markets in San Francisco, as I loved visiting different markets to see the latest produce, cheeses, meats and foodstuffs for sale. But I couldn’t find them all in one place; I had to visit three different websites to compile what I think is a full list. I wanted to share what I found with you all. So, here it is. If you know of other farmers’ markets in San Francisco, or have corrections or recommendations on what’s best at these markets, please let us know through a comment or email.

UPDATED September 2017: We now live in Chicago, which has a great comprehensive list of farmers’ markets, so I’m not as up to date on San Francisco farmers’ markets (though I miss them dearly, especially in the winter!). However, as folks seem to like this list, I’ve been updating it, thanks to your comments below and great emails from industrious readers. Keep the tips coming, please!

All markets with a * are listed at the Pacific Coast Farmers Market Association link below with more information.
